My rainbow cake adapted from sweetapolita recipe. Though the recipe is using lemon swiss buttercream, I opt to a creamcheese frosting...my daughter's favourite!

Spicy Breaded Shrimp (Udang Goreng Tepung Berempah)

Just made these for luch today, very easy and delicious. Recipe : Spicy Breaded Shrimp 20 pcs large shrimp 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon paprika 1 teaspoon ground pepper - Marinade prawn and set aside 3 tablespoon flour 1 teaspoon chicken stock powder 1 teaspoon rempah kari ikan Dash of salt and pepper 1 egg whisk a little Breadcrumbs Method Put shrimp one at a time into flour mixture. Dip in egg leave the tail clean coat with bread crumbs Deep fry for 5 mins or until breadcrumbs turn golden brown Enjoy your home made breaded shrimp! by Wanie Talib

Tepung Pelita, Kuih Tradisional Kegemaran Ramai

Tepung pelita (kebiasaan kami org Kuala Kangsar memanggil kuih ini Limas), selalu didapai pada bulan Ramadhan, jarang dijumpai di gerai-gerai kuih... Tapi memang menarik kuih ini, iaitu pada seni melipat kelongsongnya, dibuat dari daun pisang, kelongsong limas ini membendung isinya yang lembut...
